WHY
IMPACT Park County MT?
We've been hearing for too long that existing residents are struggling with the financial pressures and affordability of living and working in Park County. Demands on the county for services are greater than the revenue brought in through our taxes making it vulnerable to influences that do not necessarily represent the voice of the people.
While independent voices are admirable, it has become clear that our voices can be more impactful if strategic, unified and with solutions that truly serve the people of Park County Montana. IMPACT Park County is a grassroots initiative of citizen residents seeking to understand to the fullest the annual county budget and budget process with the intent to support wider engagement of it's residents.

When, Where And How May I Participate In IMPACT Park County?
When: You can participate immediately. Simply go to the commitment pledge page in the menu.
Where: We've designed this website to be our home base and new members will be invited for a weekly orientation on how to use it to their fullest advantage.
How: We're glad you asked. When you join, you have 3 commitment levels to choose what fits best. You'll notice we're asking you a commitment membership fee that supports the basic costs of for our web functions and newsletter. We are also asking for talent. Those seeking to offer expertise. Once you join, you'll see a form to complete asking you about skills, knowledge or abilities you'd like to contribute. We're seeking advisory board member, coaches and subject matter experts.

History
IMPACT Park County is a business formed in 2024 at the request of a group of like-minded residents who recognized they lived in an iconic region of the world and wanted to preserve its social and economic culture and opportunities.
It was born out of one too many stories of local residents having to make hard choices about their future in Park County do to economic pressures.
Those inspiring, facilitating and supporting the founding of this business felt strongly that this be a private business. We believe in the power of private business models, independent of government and foundation funding, operating prudently, at minimal cost.
